Today we met with officials from the Breedevallei Munisipaliteit – Breede Valley Municipality in Worcester before heading to the South African Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative (SATVI) – partially funded by the U.S. government. Based in an area where the rate of TB is among the highest recorded in the world, SATVI is making amazing strides in the fight against it. Our last stop for the day was with Karoo National Park officials.
We were delighted to have met Vuyo Mrashula who interviewed the Consul General on Valley FM!
