CALL FOR COMMENTS ON THE DRAFT MUNICIPAL COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY
The Breede Valley Municipality invites all stakeholders, residents, businesses, community organisations, and interested parties to review and comment on the Draft Communications Strategy. This strategy outlines how the municipality will improve access to information, ensure transparency, and enhance engagement with the public through effective use of media platforms, technology, and local strategic partnerships.
The Draft Communications Strategy 2025/2026 is now open for public comment. It can be accessed electronically via the municipal website or requested by email from hbotha@bvm.gov.za or jbulani@bvm.gov.za. All feedback received will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in the final version, which will be submitted to the Council for approval. Comments must be submitted starting today and no later than 30 June 2025.
Members of the public who are unable to read or write are encouraged to visit the Communications Unit at 53 Baring Street during regular office hours for assistance with their comments. Your input is important in helping shape a communications strategy that reflects the needs of all our communities. Make your voice count!
