SANRAL, through EFG Engineers and Delta Built Environment Consultants, is proposing upgrades to a 10.5 km stretch of the N1 (Section 3) between Worcester East (km 3.50) and Glen Heatlie (km 14.00).

Upgrades include:

• Widening and realignment of the N1

• Construction of new service roads and interchanges

• Upgrading the road to freeway standard (120km/h)

This project may affect land use, biodiversity, watercourses, and local stakeholders. An Environmental Impact Assessment is underway. You are invited to register as an Interested & Affected Party (I&AP) and submit your comments or concerns.
