PUBLIC NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 116 (3) OF THE MFMA (ACT 56 OF 2003)

NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 116 (3) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL FINANCE MANAGEMENT ACT (ACT 56 OF 2003), FOR THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENT WITH THE FOLLOWING SERVICE PROVIDER:

• MEYER AND BOTHA ATTORNEYS

The Breede Valley Municipality hereby gives notice in terms of Section 116 (3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act (No. 56 of 2003), as amended, of its intention to amend the contractual appointment Meyer and Botha Attorneys, under contract reference BVA 699/2021, for the provision of debt collection services.

The contract shall be amended to extend the existing scope and services under the same contract terms and conditions on the cases they already handled for a period ending 30 June 2027.

Any interested person, body, or party is invited to submit written representations, comments, or objections regarding Breede Valley Municipality’s envisaged intent to amend this contract.

Any comments or representations against the proposed amendments must be properly motivated in writing and must submitted by no later than Monday, 13 May 2024, at 11:00. Such comments or representations must be deposited in the tender box in a sealed envelope, clearly endorsed: COMMENTS ON NOTICE OF AMENDMENT OF EXISTING AGREEMENT WITH:
