PUBLIC NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 116 (3) OF THE MFMA (ACT 56 OF 2003)

NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 116(3) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL FINANCE MANAGEMENT ACT (ACT 56 OF 2003), FOR THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENTS WITH THE FOLLOWING SERVICE PROVIDERS:

• LUKHOZI CONSULTING ENGINEERS (PTY) LTD
• INNOVATIVE TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD
• INGEROP SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD
• IX ENGINEERS (PTY) LTD
• MOTLA CONSULTING ENGINEERS
• OWS CIVILS (PTY) LTD
• KANETY AND TEMPLER (PTY) LTD
• EAS INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERS (PTY) LTD

The Breede Valley Municipality hereby gives notice in terms of Section 116 (3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act (No. 56 of 2003), as amended, of its intention to amend the contractual appointment for the service providers mentioned above in terms of contract BV894/2021: Professional Consulting services for various engineering projects.

The contracts shall be amended to extend the existing scope and services under the same contract terms and conditions for a period as indicated in Annexure A.

Any interested person, body, or party can submit written representations, comments, or objections regarding Breede Valley Municipality’s intent to amend these contracts.

Any comments or representations against the proposed amendments must be properly motivated in writing and must submitted by no later than Monday, 27 May 2024, at 11:00. Such comments or representations must be deposited in the tender box in a sealed envelope, clearly endorsed COMMENTS ON NOTICE OF AMENDMENT OF EXISTING AGREEMENTS WITH - THE APPLICABLE SERVICE PROVIDER AND PROJECT AS LISTED UNDER ANNEXURE A
