NOTICE:
DRAFT BUDGET 2025/2026 AND DRAFT THIRD REVIEW OF THE 5th GENERATION INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN (IDP) 2025-2026
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 22(a) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003), read together with Section 15(1) of the Municipal Budget and Reporting Regulations 2008, that the Draft Budget for the 2025/2026 Medium Term Revenue & Expenditure Framework (MTREF) was approved by Council on 25 March 2025, as per Council Resolution C123/2025.
Notice is further given in terms of Section 25(4) of the Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act No. 32 of 2000), that the Draft Third Review of the 5th Generation IDP (2022 – 2027) was approved by Council on 25 March 2025, as per Council Resolution C124/2025.
The Council Resolution and all other relevant documentation are available for viewing at the Municipality's under-mentioned libraries during normal office hours. The said documentation may also be viewed on the Municipality's website: www.bvm.gov.za.
In terms of Section 21A(2) of the Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act No. 32 of 2000), the local community is hereby invited to submit written comments or representations to the Municipality in respect of the Draft Budget 2025/2026 and Draft IDP 2025-2026, by no later than 25 April 2025 (reference: Draft IDP/Budget 2025/2026). Written comments or representations must be submitted as follows:
Draft Budget 2025/2026:

2025-2026 KONSEP BEGROTING ASOOK KONSEP DERDE HERSIENDE WEERGAWE VAN DIE 5de GENERASIE GEïNTEGREERDE ONTWIKKELINGSPLAN (GOP) 2025-2026
Kennis geskied hiermee ingevolge Artikel 22(a) van die Wet op Plaaslike Regering: Munisipale Finansiële Bestuur, 2003 (Wet No.56 van 2003), saamgelees met Artikel 15(1) van die Munisipale Begrotings- en Verslagdoenings-regulasies 2008; dat die Raad die Konsep Begroting vir die 2025-2026 Medium Termyn Inkomste & Uitgawe Raamwerk (MTIUF) goedgekeur het op 25 Maart 2025, volgens Raadsresolusie C123/2025.
Kennis geskied ook ingevolge Artikel 25(4) van die Munisipale Stelsels Wet, 2000 (Wet No. 32 of 2000), dat die Raad die Konsep derde hersiende weergawe van die 5de Generasie GOP (2022 – 2027) vir die 2025-2026 finansiële jaar goedgekeur het op 25 Maart 2025, volgens Raadsresolusie C124/2025.
Die Raadsbesluit en alle ander tersaaklike dokumentasie is, gedurende normale kantoorure, beskikbaar vir besigtiging by die ondergemelde biblioteke van die munisipaliteit. Die gemelde dokumentasie is ook beskikbaar op die webwerf van die munisipaliteit: www.bvm.gov.za.
Ingevolge Artikel 21A(2) van die Munisipale Stelsels Wet, 2000 (Wet No. 32 of 2000), word die plaaslike gemeenskap hiermee genooi om, teen nie later nie as 25 April 2025, skriftelike kommentaar of vertoë aan die munisipaliteit te rig ten opsigte van die Konsep Begroting 2025/2026 en Konsep GOP 2024-2025 (verwysing: Konsep GOP/Begroting 2025/2026). Skriftelike kommentaar of vertoë moet deur middel van die volgende kanale gerig word:
