PUBLIC NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 116 (3) OF THE MFMA (ACT 56 OF 2003)

NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 116(3) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL FINANCE MANAGEMENT ACT (ACT 56 OF 2003), FOR THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENT WITH THE FOLLOWING SERVICE PROVIDER:

·  NEDBANK LIMITED

The Breede Valley Municipality hereby gives notice in terms of Section 116 (3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act (No. 56 of 2003), as amended, of its intention to amend the contractual appointment of Nedbank Limited, under contract reference BV 955/2022 for the provision of banking services.

The contract shall be amended to extend the contract duration under the same contract terms and conditions for a period ending 30 September 2025.

Any interested person, body or party is hereby invited to submit written representations, comments or objections regarding Breede Valley Municipality’s envisage intent to amend these contracts.

Any comments or representations against the proposed amendments must be properly motivated in writing and must submitted by no later than Friday, 13 June 2025 at 11:00. Such comments or representations must be deposited in the tender box, in a sealed envelope, clearly endorsed: COMMENTS ON NOTICE OF AMENDMENT OF EXISITING AGREEMENTS WITH:
