Rivers: There are three rivers flowing through the ward namely, the Hex River and its tributaries the Jan Du Toits River and the Amandel River.

De Ruimte Groot Dam, Swart Dam, Werda Dam, Normandie 2 Dam, The Pines Dam and Brandwagt Dam 1 and Dam 2.
Category 3
Ninham Shan Dam, as well as the Fairy Glen dam

The ward consists of formal residential, low income housing as well as an informal settlement:

- Low income housing: Silverkamp in De Wet
- Informal Settlement: GG Kamp in De Doorns

A large section of the ward consists comprises of agricultural zones.
