The Riviersonderend Mountain range is located on the far southern side, forming the boundary between Breede Valley and Langeberg Municipalities.

Rivers

Rivers: the Nuy and the Breede Rivers flow through this ward.

Dams and Reservoirs: A number of dams varying is category sizes are located in Ward 18, these include:

  • Category 2: 17 Dams

Residential

Ward 18 comprises of low income residential dwellings as well as an informal settlement known as Mandela Square Phase 3 B.

A large portion of the ward comprises of agricultural activities.
