Attention: EPWP Phase V Non-State Sector Programme

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Please note that the IDT (Independent Development Trust) is currently involved in planning linked to the rollout of the EPWP Non-State Sector Programme. It is anticipated that an advert will be placed within the coming weeks inviting Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Community-Based Organisations (CBOs), Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) and Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs) to participate in the Phase V Non-State Sector (NSS).

Throughout the earlier phases of EPWP, organisations have been challenged to meet the statutory compliance requirements of the tenders on time. The objective of this communication is to request your assistance in engaging with community organisations within your respective District and Municipalities to:
1. Inform the community organisations of the anticipated tender; and
2. Advise the organisations on the statutory requirements linked to the tender;
so that interested community organisations can timeously secure the required documentation in preparation for the tender.

In preparation for the anticipated tender, interested organisations are encouraged to secure the following documentation, which will be required when tendering:
1. Proof of UIF registration/certificate;
2. COIDA letter of good standing;
3. Proof of CSD registration and compliance;
4. Compliance letter relating to your organisations registrations;
5. Registration documentation showing that the organisation is two years or older;
6. Proof of Tax exemption or Tax compliance;
7. Audited Financial Statements for the past two years;
8. Organisation constitution stamped by the registering department.

Don’t hesitate to contact me, Nandiswa Nyala, or Leschter Abrahams if further clarity is required.

Yours Faithfully,

Alan Wright
Programme Manager
